1. This ALCOAST updates the timeline requirements for Reserve
members to transition from the legacy Pollution Responder (PR) role
to the Environmental Response Investigator (ERI).
2. Reserve members who began pursuing their PR qualification prior
to the release of REF (B), are authorized to continue using the PR
PQS but must complete the qualification no later than twelve months
after the release of the REF (B) on 23 OCT 2024.
3. The ERI PQS and resources are available on the Commandant
(CG-MER-1) SharePoint:
