SUBJ: SUNDOWNING OF THE SKILLSOFT PERCIPIO LEARNING PLATFORM
1. The Coast Guard will sunset access to the Skillsoft Percipio
interactive learning platform in June 2025. Given the increasing
availability of no-cost online training materials, expanded
credentialing assistance and military apprentice program
opportunities, coupled with DHS's decision to not centrally fund
this platform, we are sundowning access to this learning platform.
2. Since the early 2000's, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
has provided Coast Guard employees, Reservists, Auxiliarists,
Ombudsmen, and Spouses access to professional training courses,
webinars, and certification materials through Skillsoft's Skillport
and more recently Skillsoft's Percipio. This ALCOAST provides early
notification of this intended action so current users can close out
their activities in Percipio.
3. Current Percipio users should take the following actions in
preparation for sunsetting this learning platform:
    a. Complete any Skillsoft Percipio learning programs by 1JUN2025.
    b. Download and save your transcripts before 15JUN2025.
4. Skillsoft Percipio will be completely shut down and inaccessible
after 30JUN2025.
5. Instructions to download transcripts from Skillsoft Percipio are
provided in the link below. From there, click "Download CSV" and
save your transcript to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
