RE-SOLICITATION

1. This message re-solicits those Reserve MCPOs and SCPOs desiring
assignment as a Reserve Silver Badge Command Senior Enlisted Leader
in AY25. Command Senior Enlisted Leaders uphold the highest
standards and traditions of the United States Coast Guard. These
assignments are reserved for outstanding individuals whose careers
have displayed excellence in mission execution, adherence to core
values, and a keen understanding of Coast Guard policies.
2. The CSEL is the direct representative to their principal on all
matters pertaining to efficient and effective management of day-to-
day activities in their area of responsibility (AOR). CSELs assist
and advise in enhancing policy, strategy, and outreach to the work-
force, serve as a liaison to the Command Master Chief (CMC) and
Chief Petty Officer (CPO) network, and manage communications be-
tween their principal and Senior Enlisted Leaders (SELs) throughout
their AOR. They must possess the communication skills necessary to
push ground truth feedback up and down the chain of command. These
skills are critical in building and maintaining a strong and
effective Command Cadre as well as enhancing a positive command
climate.
3. PSC-RPM-2 is resoliciting for the following CSEL positions:

4. Eligibility:
a. Open to Reserve MCPOs and SCPOs not in receipt of AY25 orders and
who meet qualifications set forth in references (A) and (B).
5. Process/timeline:
a. NLT 24 JAN 25: Standard applications emailed to:
HQS-SMB-CGPSC-RPM-2-ASSIGNMENTS@uscg.mil and 'My Panel Submissions'
submitted in Direct Access.
b. OOA 15 FEB 25: Panel results released.
c. The expected report date is 01 JUL 2025.
6. Standard Applications: Members and Commands must pay close
attention to the requirements listed in the standard application
found at https://uscg.sharepoint-mil.us/sites/psc_spo/psc-epm/epm-2
/SitePages/Special-Assignments.aspx. Incomplete or improperly
formatted applications will result in the applicant not being
considered for the CSEL Program. Deadline extensions will not be
granted.
