SUBJ: FY25 SOLICITATION FOR OFFICER LEADERSHIP COURSES
1. The Office of Leadership (DCMS-DPR-5) is announcing the officer
leadership training opportunities for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025.
Course information, training objectives, prerequisites,
application procedures and deadlines are located on the DPR-5

2. The following Coast Guard LDC courses are available for FY25:
    a. Midgrade Officer and Civilian Transition Course (MOCTC)
(100139)- Active Duty and Reserve O-3s and GS-12s that have
recently assumed supervisory roles are encouraged to apply.
(5 week online pre-residency, 1 week in-person residency)
    b. Senior Leader Transition Course (SLTC) (100437)- The target
audience for STLC is Active Duty and Reserve O-4s and GS-13
civilians. Members outside the target audience are encouraged to
apply and will be considered if space is available. (4 week online
pre-residency, 2 week in-person residency)
    c. Senior Leadership Principles and Skills (SLPS) (501316)-
This course is designed for GS-14 and O-5 personnel. Members
outside the target audience will be considered if space is
available. Recommended that participants have attended MOCTC and
SLTC. (5 day resident course with pre-arrival requirements)
    d. Command Assignment Preparatory Training (CAP-T) (502809)-
Officers assigned, or in receipt of, PCS orders as a CO, (or XO
based upon availability) to any ashore unit except for boat forces
units. Priority is given to those personnel who are not eligible to
attend a community-specific command preparatory course. (5 day
resident course)
    e. Team Leader/Facilitator Course (500203)- The target audience
for this course is E-6 to E-9, W-2 to W-4, O-1 to O-6, GS-12 to
GS-14, and Auxiliary members. High performers in other pay grades
are also encouraged to attend with supervisor approval. (5 day
resident course)
