ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — The Coast Guard will host a free, two-day family event at Schwiebert Riverfront Park in Rock Island on Friday and Saturday, offering the public a chance to interact with Coast Guard members and explore career opportunities, capabilities, and demonstrations.  Who: Adm. Kevin Lunday, Coast Guard vice commandant, Coast Guard members, and the local public  What: The Coast Guard invites the media and members of the public to interact with Coast Guard personnel, view aircraft and boats, and experience interactive displays and demonstrations  Where: Schwiebert Riverfront Park, 101 17th St., Rock Island, IL, 61201  When: Friday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., CST; Saturday, Sept. 21, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., CST
