1. This ALCOAST announces the 21st Annual National Latina Symposium
and Distinguished Military Service Awards. The symposium will be
held, in person, 19 September 2024, at the Crystal Gateway Marriott,
in Washington DC. This symposium is a dynamic event where in-depth
discussions take place through round-table sessions, panel
discussions, comprehensive surveys, and insightful commentaries.
Key topics covered include career development, family dynamics,
health and wellness, cultural awareness, political and civic
engagement, as well as the intricacies of pursuing a military
career. The highlight of the National Latina Symposium is the
Distinguished Military Service Awards Luncheon, honoring Latinas
serving in the Armed Forces.
