SUBJ: SOLICITATION FOR 2025 BLACK ENGINEER OF THE YEAR AWARD (BEYA)
SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATH (STEM) CONFERENCE,
OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (OAA) NOMINATIONS
1. This ALCOAST announces Career Communications Group, the host of
the BEYA STEM conference, is accepting nominations for the category
Outstanding Achievement Awards (OAA). The awards will to be
presented at the BEYA conference, scheduled for 13-15 February 2025.
2. BEYA STEM OAA recognizes outstanding US Coast Guard talent who
are shaping the future of engineering, science, and technology.
The BEYA STEM OAA categories are as follows:
    a. Modern-Day Technology - Awardees from this category will
showcase the bright women and men who are shaping the future of
engineering, science, and technology.
    b. Science Spectrum Trailblazer - Trailblazers are
underrepresented men and women actively creating new paths for
others in science, research, technology, and development.
Regardless of their career point, they distinguish themselves by
constantly setting their sights higher, striving to innovate, and
opening doors for others.
3. All nomination packages must be submitted online using the 2025
BEYA STEM Nominations Portal. Obtain additional information on the
2025 BEYA STEM OAA nomination process at:

Nomination packages must be submitted NLT 01 October 2024.
4. All award winner travel and registration costs will be sponsored
by their nominating command/unit, subject to available funding.
5. CO/OICs are strongly encouraged to support the recognition of
all civilian and military personnel (active and reserve).
