1. AGGREGATIONS OF ENDANGERED RIGHT WHALES HAVE BEEN SIGHTED NEAR HUDSON CANYON. FEDERAL LAW PROHIBITS VESSELS FROM APPROACHING WITHIN 500 YARDS OF A RIGHT WHALE. NOAA FISHERIES RECOMMENDS ALL VESSELS USE CAUTION AND TRANSIT THIS AREA SLOWLY TO PREVENT LETHAL COLLISIONS WITH RIGHT WHALES. PLEASE REPORT ALL RIGHT WHALE SIGHTINGS TO 866-755-NOAA OR TO THE COAST GUARD VIA CHANNEL 16.
