1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for candidates to fill the following
Culinary Specialist E-6 position:

CS1 00022707 CGC MUSKINGUM FSO SALLISAW, OK
CS1 00038357 CGC MOBILE BAY FSO STURGEON BAY, WI
2. IAW Ref (B), Phase 1 Candidates are defined as members who are below
the currently published cut line with their stratified list on the
current, active advancement eligibility list.
3. Report date OOA 01 AUG 2024.
4. Interested candidates shall submit one PCS E-Resume in Direct
Access NLT COB 19 JUN 2024.Commands shall address all required
endorsements, IAW references (A).
5. Members applying for this A2P solicitation shall notify their
XO or the first E-7 in their chain of command of their
intention to compete for these assignments prior to the eResume
submission deadline listed in paragraph 4.
6. Members in Special Assignments may apply to these positions.
However, these members must receive command endorsements addressing
backfill requirements. Commands should be aware that immediate backfills
for Special Assignments are not available and will incur a gap at their unit until AY25.
7. A2P may be used to fill these positions if candidate meet the criteria
in ref (B). If qualified E5s are selected, these members will advance
to E6 IAW Ref (B), if all other advancement requirements
are met and the advancement recommendation is maintained.
8. As a reminder, candidates should ensure their Official Military
Personnel File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082,
CG-3307s, awards, academic transcripts). Members can view their OMPF
by logging onto iPERMS: iPERMS RMA (uscg.mil). If updates to the OMPF
are needed, members can work with their local Personnel & Admin office.
Members are also encouraged to review their ESS in CGBI.
