1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for candidates to fill the following Yeoman
(1) E-7 & (1) E-6 positions:

YN1 00001806 PPC ADVANCEMENTS BR ADV BR- DUTY TOPEKA, KS
2. IAW Ref (B), Phase 1 Candidates are defined as members who are below
the currently published cut line with their stratified list on the current,
active advancement eligibility list.
3. Report date 01 AUG 2024.
4. Interested candidates shall submit one PCS E-Resume in Direct Access
using the position number listed above NLT COB 28 MAY 2024. A Direct Access
command endorsement is required and shall include the very specific
elements IAW ref (A).
5. E7/E6s in receipt of AY24 PCS orders may not apply to these positions.
E7s/E6s desiring to fill the above positions who are not tour complete are
eligible to apply and will have priority over those E6s and E5s who do apply.
However, these members must receive a command endorsement addressing
backfill requirements. Commands should be aware that immediate backfills
are not available and will incur a gap at their unit until AY25.
6. Members applying for these A2P solicitations shall notify their XO or the
first E7 in their chain of command of their intention to compete for these
assignments prior to the eResume submission deadline listed in paragraph 4.
7. A2P may be used to fill these positions if a candidate meet the criteria
in ref (B). If a qualified E6/E5 is selected, the member will advance to
E7/E6 IAW Ref (B), if all other advancement requirements are met and the
advancement recommendation is maintained.
8. As a reminder, candidates should ensure their Official Military
Personnel File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082,
CG-3307s, awards, academic transcripts). Members can view their OMPF
by logging onto iPERMS: iPERMS RMA (uscg.mil). If updates to the OMPF are
needed, members can work with their local Personnel & Admin office.
Members are also encouraged to review their ESS in CGBI.
