SUBJ: OFF SEASON SOLICITATION - BOATSWAIN'S MATE - MULTIPLE POSITIONS
A. Military Assignments and Authorized Absences, COMDTINST M1000.8 (series)
1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for candidates to fill the following positions
outside
of the normal assignment season to fill the below positions:

2. For awareness, these positions will reflect as OS positions in Direct Access.
When applying, please ensure that the position numbers listed above match.
3. Any members double encumbered or in a billet to paygrade/billet mismatch in
their current position. E-5's will be considered for assignment to the above
positions and are encouraged to apply.
4. Report date OOA 01 AUG 2024.
5. Interested candidates shall submit one PCS E-Resume in Direct
Access NLT COB 10 MAY 2024. A Direct Access command endorsement is
required for overseas assignment and shall include the elements required in
Chapter 1.H.4 of Ref (A).
6. As a reminder, candidates should ensure their Official Military
Personnel File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082,
CG-3307s, awards, academic transcripts). Members can view their OMPF
by logging onto iPERMS: https://iperms.mymilrecord.uscg.mil/login/. If
updates to the OMPF are needed, members can work with their local
Personnel & Admin office. Members are also encouraged to review their
ESS in CGBI.
7. Commands shall address any backfill requirements and specify a
required reporting date. Commands should be advised that immediate
backfills are not always available and requirements for one will
be factored into candidate selection.
