SUBJ: CRITICAL FILL SOLICITATION - EM2 INDEPENDENT DUTY - MULTIPLE POSITIONS

1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for candidates to fill the following EM2 positions:

2. Report date OOA 01 AUG 2024
3. Interested candidates shall submit a PCS eResume in Direct Access NLT
COB 16 MAY 2024. A Direct Access command endorsement for Independent
Duty is required as per reference (A).
4. This solicitation is open to EM2s tour complete in AY25 and EM3s on
the EM2 supplemental advancement list.
5. Members on the supplemental advancement list for advancement to EM2,
in a billet to paygrade mismatch will be considered primary candidates. E5s
applying for the position must receive a command endorsement addressing backfill
requirements. Commands should be aware that immediate backfills are not
available and will incur a gap at their unit until AY25.
6. Members currently in receipt of AY24 orders will not be considered.
7. As a reminder, candidates should ensure their Official Military Personnel
File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082, CG-3307s, awards,
academic transcripts). Members can view their OMPF by logging onto
iPERMS: iPERMS RMA (uscg.mil). If updates to the OMPF are needed,
members can work with their local Personnel & Admin office. Members
are also encouraged to review their ESS in CGBI.
8. Commands shall address any backfill requirements and specify a required
reporting date. Commands should be advised that immediate backfills are not
always available and requirements for one will be factored into candidate
selection.
