1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting candidates for the pre-commissioning crew of USCGC
FREDERICK MANN (WPC 1160). Standard tour length for all members is two years.
Successful completion of this tour will constitute an assignment priority two
upon completion.
2. The Coast Guard is scheduled to take delivery of USCGC FREDERICK MANN
(WPC 1160) on or about 17 Apr 2025. Members will be assigned a report date
OOA 01 Oct 2024 for E5 and above, 01 Jan 2025 for E4 and below.

Note 1: USCGC FREDERICK MANN (WPC 1160) EPO will be a MKC. All EPO
applicants shall ensure they receive the appropriate command endorsement
and meet the requirements of section 1.C.7 from reference (A) or have
successfully screened for EPO in Assignment Year (AY) 2024.
3. Application Procedures: members who are tour complete in AY24 and/or in
receipt of AY24 orders will not be considered for these positions. Interested
candidates shall submit a command endorsed eResume in Direct Access no later
than EOB 30 Jun 2024. Any commands that have backfill concerns due to the early
report date should include that concern in the eResume endorsement or via
email to the POC listed below. Commands shall include overseas screening
comments as per reference (C). Additionally, GMs must receive an Independent
Duty command endorsement in accordance with reference (A), Ch 1.C.16, that
specifically addresses the member’s leadership ability, rating knowledge,
ability to work unsupervised, and initiative.
4. All positions require a Secret security clearance. Members applying must
either have a current security clearance or eligible to receive a security
clearance.
5. As a reminder candidates should ensure their Official Military Personnel
File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082, CG-3307s, awards,
academic transcripts, etc). Members can view their OMPF at:
iPERMS RMA (uscg.mil). Members are also encouraged to review their ESS
in CGBI. The ESS provides a consolidated view of their information as it
appears in Direct Access. This serves as a means for every Coast Guard
member to review their personal data and to ensure the information is up
to date and accurate.
