SUBJ: ADVANCE TO POSITION (A2P) PHASE 1 OPPORTUNITIES - BM - MULTIPLE POSITIONS

1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for candidates to fill the following BM1 positions:

BM1 BASE ALAMEDA MAT (NMM) ALAMEDA, CA 00104250
2. IAW Ref (B), Phase 1 Candidates are defined as members who are below
the currently published cut line with their stratified list on the
current, active advancement eligibility list (MAY 2023 MCAP/SWE).
Members applying for command positions through A2P will be screened with
all applicants applying for that position with current established screening
procedures.
3. Report date OOA 01 JUL 2024.
4. Interested candidates shall submit one PCS E-Resume in Direct access
NLT COB 26 APR 2024.
5. A2P may be used to fill these positions if a candidate meets the criteria
in Ref (B). If a qualified MBR is selected, the member will advance
to the next higher pay grade IAW Ref (B) if all other advancement requirements
are met and the advancement recommendation is maintained.
6. Members applying for this A2P solicitation shall notify their command or the
first E-7 in their chain of command of their intention to compete for this
assignment prior to the e-Resume submission deadline listed in paragraph 4.
7. As a reminder, candidates should ensure their Official Military
Personnel File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082,
CG-3307s, awards, academic transcripts). Members can view their OMPF
by logging onto iPERMS: iPERMS RMA (uscg.mil). If updates to the OMPF are
needed, members can work with their local Personnel & Admin office.
Members are also encouraged to review their ESS in CGBI.
