1. This ALCOAST announces the 2024 LULAC National Convention and
Exposition. The convention will be held, in person, 26-29 June
2024, at the Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, in
Las Vegas, NV. This year's theme is "Empowering Women,
Transforming Communities."
2. LULAC's mission is to advance the economic condition,
educational attainment, political influence, housing, health and
civil rights of the United States Hispanic population.
Workshops and panels will include topics such as, veteran's
affairs, women's affairs, career development and networking. The
LULAC convention also hosts the LULAC Federal Training Institute
(FTI) workshop. FTI offers an intensive and structured career
development program for government and public sector employees.
In partnership with the OPM and other Federal agencies, FTI
offers workshops and plenary sessions that enable government
employees and others to enhance their leadership skills and develop
the Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) required for entry to the
Senior Executive Service. This event supports the CG by providing a
forum for professional development, information sharing, mentoring,
networking and growth. Additional information regarding the LULAC
convention is available at the following website:
