1. This ALCOAST announces the Coast Guard Chief Warrant and Warrant
Officers Association (CWOA) will hold its annual meeting 15 May
through 18 May 2024. The annual meeting will be held at the
Hotel 1000 Seattle in Seattle, WA. The Board of Directors will
assemble for these days at the Hotel 1000 Seattle at
1000 First Ave Seattle, WA 98104.
2. It is strongly encouraged all CWO Chapter Presidents or their
designated representative and Distinguished Members (DM)
participate in person for this year’s meeting as we celebrate the
Association's 95 years of fostering leadership and professional
development of the CWO corps. All CWOA members are welcome and
should participate in this very important aspect of being a CWO.
3. The meeting will conclude with a formal dinner on the evening of
May 18th. The uniform for the dinner is Dinner Dress Blues for all
active duty and reserve personnel and formal dress for all others.
4. As operational commitments permit, commanding officers are
authorized to grant administrative absences IAW REF (A) to allow
members to participate in the meeting.
5. Members desiring to participate should reach out to their Chapter
President who will have the meeting and registration instructions.
