1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for a candidate to fill the following Operations
Specialist E6 position:

2. IAW Ref (B), Phase 1 Candidates are defined as members who are below
the currently published cut line with their stratified list on the
current, active advancement eligibility list.
3. Report date OOA 01 JUL 2024.
4. Interested candidates shall submit one PCS E-Resume in Direct
Access NLT COB 18 MAR 2024. Commands shall address all required endorsements,
including overseas screening comments as per Ref (A) and (C).
5. E6s in receipt of PCS orders for transfer in AY24 may not apply to
this position.
6. E6s who are not tour complete in AY24 are eligible to apply and
will have priority over those E5s who do apply. However, these members
must receive a command endorsement addressing backfill requirements.
Commands should be aware that immediate backfills are not available
and if candidate is selected they will incur a gap in position until AY25.
7. A2P may be used to fill this positions if a candidate meets the criteria
in ref (B). If a qualified E5 is selected, the member will advance
to E6 IAW Ref (B), if all other advancement requirements
are met and the advancement recommendation is maintained.
8. As a reminder, candidates should ensure their Official Military
Personnel File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082,
CG-3307s, awards, academic transcripts). Members can view their OMPF
by logging onto iPERMS: htps://iperms.mymilrecord.uscg.mil/login/. If
updates to the OMPF are needed, members can work with their local
Personnel & Admin office. Members are also encouraged to review their
ESS in CGBI.
