1. Effective immediately, REF (A) is updated to rename the Critical
Skill Training Bonus (CSTB) to Designated Career Field Bonus (DCFB).
This change is necessary to align with language in 37 U.S.C. 331,
which authorizes a larger payment for this type of bonus. The CSTB
is authorized under 14 U.S.C. 2319 and has a limit of $20,000. All
reference to CSTB and 14 U.S.C. 2319 in REF (A) will be changed to
DCFB and 37 U.S.C. 331 in the next update.
2. This ALCOAST announces updates to the FY2024 monetary
interventions listed below. These updates supersede their
corresponding offers announced in REF (B). All authorized FY2024
interventions offered in REF (A) and this ALCOAST expire on 30 SEP
2024.
    a. OS Selective Reenlistment Bonus (SRB). A $60,000 Zone A SRB is
authorized for eligible OS3 and OS2 members who re-enlist with
an additional four (4) years of active-duty service obligation.
    b. MK DCFB: A $30,000 DCFB is authorized for graduates of MK
Class "A" School who agree to an active-duty service obligation
of four (4) years upon graduation from MK "A" School, advancement
to pay grade E-4, or receipt of designator, whichever is later.
    c. MK CSRB: A $40,000 CSRB is authorized for MKs who accept
assignment to a surf station or the National Motor Lifeboat School
and agree to an active-duty service obligation of four (4) years.
MKs already in receipt of AY24 PCS orders and re-tours are eligible;
MKs approved for tour extensions may be authorized a pro-rated bonus
amount.
    d. MK Guaranteed "A" School EB: A $30,000 EB is authorized for
new recruits, for their first career enlistment, and who sign an
agreement to attend MK "A" School immediately upon graduation
from boot camp. This bonus requires an active-duty service
obligation of four (4) years upon graduation from MK "A" School.
3. Members must confirm their eligibility per REFs (A) and (B).
Members who entered into an agreement to extend their enlistment
contract or to reenlist on or after 21 FEB 2024 are eligible to
apply for these bonuses and may submit a request to CG PSC-EPM-1
to cancel their current agreement for the purpose of reenlisting
or extending their contracts to obtain these bonuses.
4. All FY2024 interventions and eligibility requirements are listed
on the Selective Reenlistment Bonus page of the Pay & Personnel

5. This ALCOAST will be canceled on 01 OCT 2024.
