1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for candidates to fill the following ETC positions:

2. IAW reference (B), Phase 1 candidates are defined as members who are
below the currently published cut line within their stratified list on the
current, active advancement eligibility list.
3. Report date OOA 01 JUL 2024.
4. Interested candidates shall submit one PCS eResume in Direct Access NLT
COB 06 MAR 2024. Commands shall include overseas screening comments as
per reference (C).
5. E7s in receipt of PCS orders may not apply to these positions. E7s desiring
to fill the above positions who are not tour complete are eligible to apply
and will have priority over those E6s who do apply. However, these members must
receive a command endorsement addressing backfill requirements. Commands should
be aware that immediate backfills are not available and will incur a gap at
their unit until AY25.
6. A2P may be used to fill this position if a candidate meets the criteria in
reference (B). If a qualified E6 is selected, the member will advance to E7 IAW
reference (B), if all other advancement requirements are met and the
advancement recommendation is maintained.
7. As a reminder, candidates should ensure their Official Military
Personnel File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082, CG-3307s,
awards, academic transcripts). Members can view their OMPF by logging onto
iPERMS: iPERMS RMA (uscg.mil). If updates to the OMPF are needed, members
can work with their local Personnel & Admin office. Members are also
encouraged to review their ESS in CGBI.
