2. Selected members will have a report date OOA 01 JUL 2024.
3. Interested EPO candidates shall ensure they receive the appropriate
command endorsement and meet the requirements of section 1.C.7 from
reference A or have successfully screened for EPO in Assignment Year (AY)
2024. Only members rotating in AY24 will be considered for these positions.
4. Individuals who are currently in receipt of EPO or AY24 PCS orders
will not be considered.
5. Afloat EPO: E-8 EMs or MKs that meet eligibility requirements
for afloat positions in accordance with references A and C are
encouraged to apply for E8 afloat positions. Only MK E7s that meet
eligibility requirements for afloat positions will be considered for the
afloat positions on this solicitation.
6. EM Ashore EPO: Only EM E5s that meet eligibility requirements for the
ashore position will be considered for the EM2 EPO ashore position on this
solicitation.
7. Interested candidates shall submit a PCS eResume in Direct Access
using the position numbers listed above NLT COB 27 NOV 2023. Requested
EPO positions should be listed above any general duty positions on the
eResume. Commands shall address all required endorsements including
overseas screening comments as per references A and B when required.
8. As a reminder candidates should ensure their Official Military Personnel
File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082, CG-3307s, awards,
academic transcripts, etc). Members can view their OMPF at:
iPERMS RMA (uscg.mil). Members are also encouraged to review their
ESS in CGBI. The ESS provides a consolidated view of their information
as it appears in Direct Access. This serves as a means for every Coast
Guard member to review their personal data and to ensure the information
is up to date and accurate.
