SUBJ: PROMULGATION OF COAST GUARD RECRUITING INSTRUCTION
A. Coast Guard Recruiting, COMDTINST 1100.2H
B. Coast Guard Recruiting Manual, COMDTINST M1100.2G
1. This ALCOAST announces the promulgation of REF (A) and
the cancellation of REF (B).
2. Major changes include:
    a. Restructuring of Chapter 3 and Chapter 7.
    b. Two-year enlistments for non-prior service recruits.
    c. Updated age criteria for various programs and active duty
enlistment.
    d. Updated Basic Financial Criteria on Table 4-7.
    e. Direct Commission Health Service officer (DCHSO) and Direct
Commission Cyber Officer (DCCO) accession programs.
    f. Removal of test scores for officer programs, with exception
of Wilks Flight Initiative (WiFI).
    g. Lateral Entry Program has been added to Chapter 3.
