1. This SITREP updates AY24 timelines established in reference (D) for
the EM rating to ensure compliance with references (B) and (C).
Please read this message in its entirety.
2. All members in a paygrade to billet mismatch, double encumbered,
above the Service Wide Exam (SWE) advancement cut, on the EM2
supplemental advancement list, and those who are tour complete in AY24
are eligible to be transferred in AY24.
3. Updated EM AY24 Timeline:
01 Nov 2023: Official shopping list published.
06 Nov 2023: eResumes due for AP1, AP2 & all members desiring to compete
for an Engineer Petty Officer (EPO) position.
08-09 Nov 2023: EM and MK AOs will develop the EPO Slate.
13 Nov 2023: Finalize EPO slate.
14 Nov 2023: Issue EPO orders.
17-21 Nov 2023: AP1, AP2 orders issued.
20 Nov 2023: Afloat eResume due for all AP3-AP6 EMs (shoreside billets will
not be considered on this eResume).
15 Jan 2024: eResumes due for all E4 to E9 remaining general duty rotating
personnel.
31 Mar 2024: All AY24 orders issued.
4. There have been significant changes to the AY24 timeline and force
laydown in accordance with the force alignment initiative.
