1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for candidates to fill (2) Independent Duty
Yeoman E-6 position under the AY23 A2P Beta Test, per ref (C) for
the following positions:

YN1 00035124 USCGC EAGLE DUTY NEW LONDON, CT
2. Report date OOA 01 DEC 2023.
3. Interested candidates shall submit one PCS E-Resume in Direct
Access NLT COB 18 OCT 23.
4. Candidates must meet the criteria in ref (C) to apply. If a
qualified member is selected, the member will advance to E-6 on
the December 2023 EPAA, if all other advancement requirements
are met and the advancement recommendation is maintained. Members
who took the May 2023 Service Wide Exam (SWE) or were eligible to compete
for the SWE are eligible to compete for this position and advancement
opportunity.
5. Members and Commands should review art 1.C.16 of reference (a)
for assignment criteria for independent duty positions and complete
required E-resume endorsement.
6. Commands are advised that backfills are not available until AY24
and endorsement shall include acknowledgement and acceptance of gap
for applicant's position until a backfill can be provided in AY24. Any
additional requirements for backfill will be factored into candidate
selection.
7. As a reminder candidates should ensure their Official Military
Personnel File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g., CG-4082,
CG-3307s, awards, and academic transcripts). Members can view their
OMPF by logging into iPERMS: (cut and paste into browser)
https://iperms.mymilrecord.uscg.mil/login/. If updates to the OMPF
are needed, members can work with their local Personnel & Admin office.
Members are also encouraged to review their ESS in CGBI. The ESS
provides a consolidated view of their information as it appears in
Direct Access. This serves as a means for every Coast Guard member to
review their personal data and to ensure the information in Direct
Access is up to date and accurate.
8. Members who have been issued AY23 orders are not eligible to apply.
