SUBJ: SCHEDULE OF SUPERVISOR OF CIVILIANS TIER II CONVENINGS
FOR FY24
1. This ALCOAST announces the FY24 convening dates for
the Supervisor of Civilians (SUPCIV) Tier II Facilitated Online
Training course (502799).
2. This course is for all new military and civilian supervisors
who oversee civilian employees. It also supports development
requirements for all new civilian Supervisors, Managers and
Executives as part of the greater DHS Leader Development
Program (LDP): 
     a. Civilian Supervisors of civilians that are new to DHS must
take this course within the first 12 months of employment,
regardless of previous supervisory experience. 
     b. Civilian Supervisors of civilians who have become first-time 
supervisors while working within DHS must take this course within
12 months of becoming a supervisor. 
     c. Civilian Supervisors of civilians required to take this course
that are beyond the 12 month requirement are encouraged to complete
it as soon as possible. 
3. Convening dates are listed below. Please work with your Unit
Training Officer to secure your attendance.   
     a. SUPCIV Tier II FY24 Convening Dates:  
         (1) January 8-12, 2024
         (2) January 29 – February 2, 2024 
         (3) February 26 – March 1, 2024 
         (4) March 11-15, 2024  
          (5) April 1-5, 2024 
         (6) April 29 – May 3, 2024 
         (7) May 13-17, 2024
         (8) June 3-7, 2024  
         (9) June 24-28, 2024  
         (10) July 15-19, 2024  
         (11) August 19-23, 2024 
         (12) September 16-20, 2024 
     b. The following convenings will be held from 12:00 until
approximately 8:30 PM ET to accommodate those who work outside of a
reasonable Eastern Time zone course start time (e.g., those working
on the West Coast of the United States, Alaska and other
locations abroad).
         (1) February 12-16, 2024  
         (2) April 15-19, 2024
     c. Dates are subject to change. Please check the Office of
Leadership (DPR-5) website for the most up to date list
of convenings.

4. SUPCIV Tier II is the second part of the required two-part
supervisory training for new supervisors, and should be taken after
completing the updated Supervisor of Civilian Tier I self-paced
eLearning course.
     a. If you have not yet taken SUPCIV Tier I, you may access and
