SUBJ: MISSION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (MMS) COMDTINST
IMPLEMENTATION EXPECTATIONS
A. Mission Management System, COMDTINST 5200.4B
1. This ALCOAST announces a plan of action to complete
MMS implementation indicated in REF (A) at remaining
organizational levels.
2. On February 6, 2023, an updated version of REF (A) was
released further defining MMS architecture and MMS stakeholder
responsibilities. As MMS is robustly implemented at the field
and program levels, this Plan of Action specifically maps MMS
implementation at the Area Commander and District Commander
levels. This will meet the intent of REF (A).
3. The Plan of Action targets 2023 through Mar 2024 as a phase-in
implementation period. Through this period, FORCECOM MMS Staff
will assist Designated Area and District MMS Coordinators with
their development of MMS organization and skillsets.
Full compliance with REF (A) is anticipated by FY2024.
4. POC: Mr. Anthony Morris, Mission Management System Deputy,
FC-ACMMS, Anthony.D.Morris@uscg.mil or
LCDR Bryana Nicholas, FORCECOM Compliance Branch Chief,
Bryana.K.Nicholas@uscg.mil.
5. RDML Jeff Randall, Commander, Force Readiness
Command (FC-C) and RDML Wayne Arguin, Assistant Commandant for
Prevention Policy (CG-5P), send.
6. Internet release is authorized.
