SUBJ: CRITICAL FILL SOLICITATION - DC2 - CGC DAVID DUREN
A. Military Assignments and Authorized Absences, COMDTINST M1000.8A
1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting candidates for the following independent
duty critical vacancy:

DC2 19384108 CGC DAVID DUREN ASTORIA, OR
2. Selected member will have a report date OOA 01 JUL 2023.
Upon the successful completion of this 3-year tour, members
will receive an assignment priority 4.
3. This solicitation is open to members tour complete in AY24 and DC3s
on the DC2 supplemental list.
4. Individuals who are currently in receipt of AY23 orders will
not be considered.
5. Interested candidates should submit an E-resume in Direct
Access NLT COB 05 MAY 2023 using the position listed above ensuring
it is forwarded to the unit command for endorsement. Commands shall
address any backfill requirements and specify a required reporting
date. Commands should be advised that immediate backfills are not
always available and requirements for one will be factored into
final candidate selection.
6. If there are no volunteers, all DC2s in paygrade mismatched
positions will be considered.
7. As a reminder, candidates should ensure their Official Military
Personnel File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082,
CG-3307s, awards, academic transcripts). Members can view their OMPF
by logging onto iPERMS: https://iperms.mymilrecord.uscg.mil/login/.
If updates to the OMPF are needed, members can work with their local
Personnel & Admin office. Members are also encouraged to review their
ESS in CGBI. The ESS provides a consolidated view of their information
as it appears in Direct Access. This serves as a means for every Coast
Guard member to review their personal data and to ensure the
information in Direct Access is up to date and accurate
