1. This ALCOAST announces the Eclipse 2023 award winners. The USCG
Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan is a "Call to Action" for all
members of the Coast Guard to preserve and promote dignity and
respect in our Service.
2. The Coast Guard Academy held its 48th Annual Eclipse event on
13-15 April 2023. This year's theme was "Rise Together: Embracing
Differences to Lead the Teams of Tomorrow." These Eclipse 2023
award winners were recognized by the Commandant at the Eclipse
Awards Luncheon on 15 April 2023:
    a. Manson Brown Genesis Award: ENS Juan Acevedo-Perez, USCG
    b. Merle Smith Pioneer Award: CAPT Arthur Ray, USCG
    c. JoAnn Miller Community Award: Ms. Maggie Favretti
    d. Frances Neal Humanitarian Award: Chaplain Kamille Williams,
USN
    e. Joseph Vojvoditch Award: LCDR Mark Braxton, USCG (ret)
    f. Hallie Gregory Respect Award: CMC Maria D'Angelo, USCG
3. Eclipse 2024 will be held on 4-6 April at the Coast Guard
