SUBJ: 2022 WANDA ALLEN-YEAROUT OMBUDSMAN OF THE YEAR AWARD
RECIPIENT
1. This ALCOAST announces Mrs. Jenna Hall, ombudsman for Sector
Houston-Galveston, Houston TX, is the recipient of the 2022 Wanda
Allen-Yearout Ombudsman of the Year Award.
2. Mrs. Hall is deeply committed to supporting CG members and their
families. She provided vital assistance and support to over 1,200
Active and Reserve members and their 2,500 CG family members for
Sector Houston/Galveston and 14 outlying CG units. She partnered
with Sector Houston-Galveston's Administrative Division to embed a
Family Check-In Form into the annual verification process, resulting
in 80% of the unit families regularly receiving pertinent
information and resources. She also recognized that units in the
area need additional ombudsmen and within a month, recruited more
volunteer ombudsmen to support the families of those CG units.
3. The following District-level recipients and nominees also deserve
special recognition for their particularly noteworthy
accomplishments:
a. District One, Mrs. Alexandra Rockwell, Sector Field Office
Southwest Harbor;
