SUBJ: SELECTION OF THE DIRECTOR, SHORE INFRASTRUCTURE BILL
EXECUTION PROGRAM
1. I am pleased to announce the selection of Mr. Robert Thomas as
the Coast Guard's Director, Shore Infrastructure Bill Execution
Program.
2. Mr. Thomas will be responsible for managing engineering,
environmental, energy, and information technology projects for
shore construction, and providing direction to the leadership of
the Office of Civil Engineering and the Shore Infrastructure
Logistics Center.
3. Mr. Thomas has comprehensive management and technical expertise
in Coast Guard engineering and logistics, and has led numerous large
acquisition programs where he coordinated the procurement, delivery,
training, and logistic support of new Coast Guard assets.
