SUBJ: RESERVE HEALTH READINESS PROGRAM - CONTRACTOR TRANSITION
1. This ALCOAST announces changes to the Reserve Health Readiness
Program (RHRP).
2. The RHRP remains an option for CG reservists and other CG
personnel on TRICARE Prime Remote (TPR) to receive the following
Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) services:
    a. Periodic Health Assessments (PHAs) - current PHA appointing
policies and procedures remain applicable.
    b. Annual Dental Readiness Examinations.
    c. Immunizations required for Individual Medical Readiness (IMR).
    d. Laboratory studies required for IMR (such as HIV, G6PD, sickle
cell trait, etc.).
    e. Assessment for medical equipment required for IMR (i.e., gas
mask inserts, prescription eyewear, PPE fit testing).
    f. Occupational Medical Surveillance and Evaluation Program
examinations. Laboratory studies, and tests.
    g. Deployment-Related Health Assessments (Pre-Deployment Health
Assessments using DD Form 2795, Post-Deployment Health Assessments
using DD Form 2796, Post-Deployment Health Re-Assessments using
DD Form 2900, and Mental Health Assessments using DD Form 2978);
and
    h. Separation/Retirement physicals using DD Forms 2697 or
2807-1/2808.
3. The RHRP contract is transitioning from Optum Serve (formerly
LHI) to QTC. The transition period will begin on 1 March 2023 and
will continue until approximately 1 June 2023.
4. IMR services ordered before 1 March 2023, including group
readiness events, will be fulfilled by Optum Serve on or before
15 May 2023.
5. Active Duty Service Members and Reservists who are not enrolled
to a Military Treatment Facility will need to contact their
servicing Independent Duty Health Services Technician or clinic to
request RHRP services.

7. During the contract transition period, Reserve members and
members covered by TPR should complete customer service surveys
in order to improve the care provided to Service members.
