The number of applicants for this program was 16.
2. The actual date of assignment under the 2-4-2 Program will be
coordinated between the member, the program manager, and the
appropriate assignment officer within the Coast Guard Personnel
Service Center during the upcoming assignment season. Selectees are
encouraged to contact the program manager regarding program
requirements. Primary candidates will receive the service
obligation and bonus agreement form within two weeks of release of
this message. Once in receipt of the agreement form, candidates have 
five business days to notify COMDT (CG-45) if they accept or decline 
their selection to the program.
3. IAW Ref A and Ref B, agreement to serve within this Naval
Engineering incentive program will incur a minimum active duty service
obligation of eight years. Service obligation periods commence upon
execution of PCS order in AY23. Questions regarding obligated 
service should be directed to the Separations Section of PSC-OPM-1
