1. On 01 November 2022, the MST A-school list will be temporarily
closed to new prospective students to manage exceedingly long waitlist times.
2. PSC-EPM-2, in coordination with CG-126, FORCECOM, and the MST Rating Force
Master Chief (RFMC) will re-evaluate the list closure utilizing updated
workforce projections on 6 month intervals.
3. Members currently on the MST A-school list (especially those on the
bottom fifth of the list) and members considering waiting for the list to
re-open are encouraged to discuss with their Chain of Command potential
impacts to careers, including meeting professional growth points and
High Year Tenure.
4. Unit COs and OICs along with the Gold/Silver Badge network and
Chiefs Mess are encouraged to distribute this message throughout the
Non-Rate community for maximum visibility.
5. PSC-EPM-2 will communicate updates through future ALCGENL and/or
A-school list notes posted at reference (a).
