SUBJ: HALF-MASTING OF NATIONAL ENSIGN
A. REF U.S. Coast Guard Regulations 1992, COMDTINST M5000.3B
1. As directed by the Department of Homeland Security Secretary,
the national ensign shall be flown at half-mast from
sunrise to sunset on Tuesday, November 01, 2022 in honor of
DHS personnel that have died due to COVID-19.
2. The national ensign shall be flown at half-mast on all U.S.
Coast Guard buildings, grounds, and vessels not underway.
3. If normally flown, the Department of Homeland Security flag
shall also be flown at half-mast for the same duration.
4. Internet release is authorized.
