1. Off-season assignment opportunities exist for qualified Reserve
personnel. Shopping lists and supplemental assignment information
are available on the PSC-RPM website at: https://www.dcms.uscg.mil/Our
-Organization/Assistant-Commandant-for-Human-Resources-CG-1/Personnel-
Service-Center-PSC/Reserve-Personnel-Management-PSC-RPM/RPM-2/AY22/.
Once on the webpage, scroll down to the AY22 Shopping Lists section to
access the off-season shopping lists.
2. Off-season assignment consideration is typically given to the
following groups of Reservists: members in the IRR, members with an
approved Regular-to-Reserve commission, members with an approved
TEMPSEP IAW REF A, and over-billeted members.
3. Members who received AY22 orders or are not tour complete will
not be considered for an off-season assignment, unless in an over-
billeted position.
4. Command endorsement criterion:
a. Members applying for Senior Enlisted Reserve Advisor (SERA)
positions must include a Command endorsement addressing the member’s
suitability to serve as a SERA as per REF B.
b. Members who are over-billeted and not tour complete, are not
required to obtain a Command endorsement addressing early departure.
5. Assignments are standard tour length as described in REF C.
6. FlexPAL Assignment Procedures:
a. Junior Officers (ENS-LT): members O-1 to O-3 will submit an
e-resume in Direct Access (DA) to FlexPAL position number 00042876,
position title JO – FlexPAL Request. Within the “Member Comments” section,
the officer should state their desired unit(s) and/or geographic
location(s). Applying for a FlexPAL assignment should be done in conjunction
with the member’s other E-Resume submissions. Members are reminded that
if they change their E-Resumes they must re-apply for all of the desired
positions and that all members can only submit an E-Resume once in a 24
hour period. Members may also apply utilizing a hardcopy CG-2002 if unable
to apply via DA.
b. Junior Enlisted (E6 and below): ALL Junior Enlisted members of ALL
ratings will ONLY select position number 00047023 when submitting their
e-resume in DA. Members will provide their Assignment Officers (AOs)
with their geographic location and desired drill location in the "Member
Comments" section of the e-resume in order to provide their AOs with
accurate information for slating.
7. Interested applicants must submit a Direct Access (DA) e-Resume
NLT 08 Aug 2022, using the PCS e-Resume module available at:

8. Members without access to DA shall complete a CG-2002 and email the
completed form to the appropriate contact listed below. The form is
