A. Naval Engineering Manual, COMDTINST M9000.6G
1. This ACN announces an update to REF (A).
2. The following content has been updated in REF (A):
    a. Table 11-2 is updated to remove note directing location of
maintenance periods for major cutters home ported in Alaska.
    b. Table 11-2 is updated to remove note identifying alternative
Maintenance Days allocation for Maritime Force Protection Unit
87 foot Patrol Boats. Maintenance Days for all 87 foot Patrol Boats
are now aligned and documented under WPB 87 in Table 11-2.
    c. Chapter 16.G requiring Logistics Compliance Inspections for
surface assets, records, and support systems has been removed.
    d. References to WHEC 378 foot cutters have been removed from
Table 11-2 and Table 29-1.
3. These policy changes have been incorporated into the Naval
Engineering Manual, COMDTINST M9000.6G and annotated on the Record
of Changes page contained within REF (A).
4. This message will be cancelled on 06 JUN 2023.
