MIAMI — The Coast Guard Cutter James crew is scheduled to offload approximately 54,500 pounds of cocaine and approximately 15,800 pounds of marijuana, Thursday, worth approximately $1.06 billion.

WHAT: Offload 54,500 pounds of cocaine and 15,800 pounds of marijuana from multiple Eastern Pacific and Caribbean Sea interdictions.
WHEN: Feb. 17, 2022, 10:20 a.m. Media should arrive at Port Everglades no later than 9 a.m.
WHERE: Berth 22, Port Everglades, 1850 Eller Dr., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316
Media wanting to attend should RSVP no later than 8 a.m. with Coast Guard District Seven public affairs at 786-812-6230. Only credentialed media will be granted access to the event.
Media are expected to wear a mask when social distancing cannot be maintained during the event.
Security: Be prepared to show government-issued photo identification, such as a driver's license or passport, and media credentials at the security checkpoint. Media must arrive no later than 9 a.m. for check-in.
