1. The city of Elizabeth City, NC, is excited to announce the
Inaugural Coast Guard Marathon. This event is not an official Coast
Guard or Coast Guard MWR event and is not sponsored or endorsed by
the Coast Guard.
2. This year's race will be a hybrid event with both virtual and
in-person options for the full marathon, half marathon, and 5K.
Race weekend is 03–05 March 2022.

Registration opened on 15 September 2021. Team registration is
available. The registration deadline is 20 February 2022.
4. As with other athletic events, Community Service Command's MWR
Sports Grant Program may be available to defer registration costs.
