SUBJ: SOLICITATION FOR GEICO MILITARY SERVICE AWARDS
1. The GEICO Military Service Awards Program pays tribute to
an active duty enlisted service member from each branch of the
Armed Forces, and one enlisted member from the reserve or
National Guard component, for his/her achievements and
contributions to the public good of the civilian and/or military
community. This annual award recognizes achievements or
contributions in the following categories:
    a. Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention
    b. Fire Safety and Fire Prevention
    c. Traffic Safety and Accident Prevention
2. Each service winner will receive a $2,500 cash honorarium and
a commemorative plaque.
3. The award will be presented in Washington, DC at a location and
on a date to be determined.
4. Eligibility is open to active duty and reserve enlisted members.
Active duty nominees must have at least one year of obligated
service remaining. Individuals are nominated based on recent
contributions or noteworthy accomplishments in one of the areas
listed above.

6. The submission deadline is November 30, 2021. All nomination
packages must be emailed to the POC listed below.
