SUBJ: HALF-MASTING OF NATIONAL ENSIGN

1. By order of the Commandant and IAW REF (A), the National
Ensign shall be flown at half mast from sunrise until sunset
on Tuesday, 14 Sep 2021, in honor of VADM John P. Currier,
USCG (Retired), 28th Vice Commandant of the Coast Guard.
2. The National Ensign shall be flown at half mast on all
Coast Guard buildings, grounds, and vessels not underway.
3. As announced in REF (B), VADM John P. Currier, USCG
(retired), passed away on Sunday, 1 March 2020 in Traverse
City, MI at the age of 68. VADM Currier will be interred at
Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday, 14 Sep 2021, at 1100.
