T-PAX Authorizing Officials Validation Request - Immediate Action Required for Units
U.S. Coast Guard sent this bulletin at 07/26/2021 10:21 AM EDTALCGPSC 069/21:
R 231833Z JUL 21 FM COMCOGARD PSC WASHINGTON DC TO ALCGPSC BT UNCLAS ALCGPSC 069/21 SUBJECT: T-PAX AUTHORIZING OFFICIALS VALIDATION REQUEST - IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED FOR UNITS A. ALCOAST 254/21 1. Per Ref A, the new travel system, E-Gov Travel System (ETS), implementation will begin on 01 October 21 (Q1 of FY22). With such a significant transition, we are in the process of updating all approval level POCs in order to mitigate risks associated with this transition period. Units need to ensure that all Authorizing Officials (AO) information is validated in T-PAX NLT Friday, 30JUL21. PPC will begin transferring this data to ETS 02AUG21. During the validation process, ensure only current AOs remain in T-PAX. If a member is no longer an AO or the member has transferred to another unit or department within an existing unit, then an update must occur or the member should be removed. 2. If information is not current in T-PAX prior to 30JUL21, units may be at risk for existing AOs to be uploaded into the wrong approval pool within ETS upon go-live of 01OCT21. This issue will require a manual trouble ticket, which may result in delay of service of ETS usage. Updated guidance on this will be provided as the transition period nears. 3. The Travel Management Office (TMO) will continue to provide key updates and information on ETS on our website at https://www.dcms.uscg.mil/ppc/travel/ets2/. 4. Should units have direct questions regarding AO Validation, members should email the Travel Management Office at HQS-SMB-CG-1332-TravelManagementOffice@uscg.mil. 5. For other related ETS or TMO questions, please direct them to CDR William Suter, Travel Management Office Implementation (CG-133) (202) 475-5377, email: William.W.Suter@uscg.mil. 6. Released by: RDML S. N. Gilreath, Commander, CG Personnel Service Center. The Service Center for Our Most Important Resource - Our People. 14. Internet release is authorized.
