ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. —  The Coast Guard Captain of the Port for Sector St. Petersburg reopened the ports of Tampa, St. Petersburg, Manatee, and Ft. Myers Wednesday following Tropical Storm Elsa.

U.S. Coast Guard crews conducted post-storm port assessments after Tropical Storm Elsa passed through the area. The assessments were conducted to ensure maritime commerce and recreational activities were safe to restart.

Mariners are requested to immediately report any hazards to navigation, discrepant aids to navigation, or any other hazardous conditions. Please make reports to the Sector Command Center via marine radio channel 16 or by calling 727-824-7534.
