SUBJ: OCT 2021 RESERVE SERVICEWIDE EXAM (RSWE) ANNOUNCEMENT - UPDATE 1

B. ALCGRSV 019/21, OCT 2021 Reserve Servicewide Exam (RSWE) Announcement
1. Due to the recent release of REF A, this update announces the cancellation
of RSWE competition for advancement to E-9.
2. The OCT 2021 RSWE competition for advancement to E-5 through E-8 and all
guidance contained in REF B remains unchanged. Members competing for advancement
to these grades must continue to follow the guidance of REF B.
3. Senior Chief Petty Officers (SCPO) eligible for advancement to E-9 must follow
the guidance of REF A.
4. Additional information on the Reserve Master Chief Advancement Panl (R-MCAP),
to include the panel's convening date, will be released via separate message traffic.

posted no later than 16 July 2021 on the RPM web site and Portal page:

5. All SCPOs must review and update their personnel records (EI-PDR, ESS, and EERs)
in preparation for R-MCAP. The EI-PDR should be requested as soon as possible to
allow ample time for correction. Directions on how to obtain a copy of the
EI-PDR are listed on the PSC BOPS-MR website at:
