HIGH WATER SAFETY ADVISORY CANCELLATION:

MORGAN CITY-PORT ALLEN ALTERNATE ROUTE

 

1. As a result of the Bayou Sorrel Lock Gauge reading below 5.5’ and falling, the COTP New Orleans has rescinded the previous high water safety advisory for the Bayou Sorrel area.

 

2. Vessels may resume normal operating conditions for the Bayou Sorrel waterway from MM 37.6 to MM 45 on the Morgan City-Port Allen Alternate Route.

 

This Marine Safety Information Bulleting supersedes Volume XXI, Issue 040, High Water Safety Advisory: Morgan City-Port Allen Alternate Route.
