Application Process for Assignment Year 2022 (AY22)
1. The Health, Safety, and Work-Life Directorate (HSWL) is
soliciting applications for the AY22 Physician Assistant (PA) entry
training program.
2. The details of the application requirements and process can be

3. Deadlines:
    a. Direct Access My Panel submission: 10 Jun 2021
    b. Official transcripts must be received by University of
Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC): 31 Jul 2021.
    c. Physician Assistant Package submission deadline is
26 Aug 2021. This includes the two-minute interview video clip or
Compact Disc (CD) submission, and the CG-5527.
    d. The selection board is currently scheduled for 07-09 Sep 2021.
4. Understanding applicable sections of REFs (A) through (D) is
essential to the application process. The Advanced Education Portal
Page is updated regularly with information and should be reviewed
regularly: Advanced Education - Home (uscg.mil). Applicants are
encouraged to seek amplifying information on eligibility
requirements, prerequisites, and clarification of application
procedures by contacting the Physician Assistant Force Manager,
at 202-475-5183 or HQS-SMB-CG-Medical-Program-Managers@uscg.mil.
