SUBJ: OFF-SEASON PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE (PHS) LT ASSIGNMENT SOLICITATION
FOR A SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OFFICER.
1. A potential off-season assignment opportunity exists for a PHS
Officer at the rank of LT to serve as the Safety and Environmental
Health Officer at HSWL Service Center Field Operations in Saint
Louis, MO, position NO. 00006283. The officer selected for this
assignment should expect to report in Summer of 2021 and be tour
complete in the summer of 2026.
2. Interested officers should submit an e-resume by COB 21 May 2021.
Requests for consideration should include a command endorsement
addressing backfill requirements and acceptability of a potential
gap. Members in receipt of AY21 PCS orders may apply with an
endorsement from their prospective command.
