SUBJ: HALF-MASTING OF NATIONAL ENSIGN
A. U.S. Coast Guard Regulations 1992, COMDTINST M5000.3B
1. As directed by the Secretary of the Department of Homeland
Security, the national ensign shall be flown at half-mast from
sunrise to sunset on Tuesday, April 13, in honor of U.S.
Border Patrol Agent Alejandro Flores-Banuelos who died in the
line of duty on March 15.
2. The national ensign shall be flown at half-mast on all U.S.
Coast Guard buildings, grounds, and vessels not underway.
3. If normally flown, the Department of Homeland Security flag
shall also be flown at half-mast for the same duration.
4. Internet release is authorized.
