been selected as Coast Guard nominees to attend the 2021-2022 MIT
Seminar XXI program.

2. This year's pool of 50 highly qualified applicants included 46
military and 4 civilian submissions. The selection process was
extremely competitive; I commend all those who applied and
congratulate those nominated.
3. Seminar XXI is a prestigious educational program for 75 senior
military officers, government officials, and industry executives
in the national security policy community. The program’s goal is
to equip rising military officials and civilian executives with
the multidimensional analytic skills needed to understand foreign
relations and shape effective policy options for the United States.
4. Selected nominees will be contacted by COMDT (CG-09232)
regarding further steps for direct application to MIT. MIT will
notify the Coast Guard in mid-summer of its final selections.
