SUBJ: OFF-SEASON LCDR & LT SOLICITATION FOR SDRC POSITIONS
1. An opportunity exists for one LCDR and three LTs to serve as
Action Officers on the Sea Duty Readiness Council (SRDC) in
Washington DC in AY21. Visit the AY21 Shopping List on the OPM-2
Portal page for details at: http://cglink.uscg.mil/cb33598e.
Off-Season positions are highlighted in red and can be sorted by
"OFF-SEASON" under the "Reason Shopped" category (column K).
2. Interested active duty, reserve, or retired officers should
contact the respective detailer via email immediately and submit an
e-resume by COB 10 April 2021. Members applying should anticipate a
report date of 01 July 2021 if selected. If not tour complete in
AY21 or in receipt of AY21 orders, requests for consideration shall
include a command endorsement addressing backfill requirements
and acceptability of a potential gap from the current or receiving
command.
3. Members unable to access the shopping list via CG Portal
should submit a help ticket to CGFIXIT. Units or Reserve Officers
experiencing connectivity issues may request a copy for further
dissemination by contacting YN3 Adolfo Jimenez at
Adolfo.F.Jimenez@uscg.mil.
4. Members unable to connect to Direct Access due to being underway
or other extenuating circumstances may communicate their requests
via e-mail to the respective detailer listed on the shopping list.
However, officers must also follow up with an Direct Access entry
as soon as connectivity is available.
