Fax Services
U.S. Coast Guard sent this bulletin at 04/02/2021 09:32 AM EDT
Incoming facsimile (fax) services (to the National Vessel Documentation Center) are currently not operational. Customers attempting to send faxes will note the system does not connect (constant ringing).
Outgoing fax services (to customers) are still operational; customers expecting faxes should see no interruption in service.
Until service is restored, customers are advised to submit applications via .pdf filing (NVDC.PDF.FILING@uscg.mil) or via USPS. Additional information, can be found under Instructions and Forms, Filing of Instruments via .pdf/Fax/Mail
