1. Per the solicitation announced in REF (A), I am pleased
to announce the recipients of the 2020 Chief Journalist
(JOC) Alex Haley and CDR Jim Simpson Public Affairs Awards.
These awards are designed to encourage and formally
recognize Coast Guard-wide participation in conducting our
important public affairs mission.
2. A selection panel convened to review 28 submission
packages for the CDR Jim Simpson Award. The following units
are the recipients of the award in the listed categories.
